Happy Thanksiving Everyone

Our trip to Ohio for turkey day was a good one. The drive was beautiful and surprisingly easy. Our little guy as it turns out is a terrific travel companion. He enjoyed an early Christmas and some good QT with Grandma Barb. It was nice to catch up with family and introduce Cyrus to those who had yet to meet him. Thank you all for your hospitality.

Happy Halloween and May The Force Be With You...

Big day yesterday - first trick or treat outing and first haircut from a barber...nothing ruins an old man's Saturday morning haircut like a screaming toddler and let me tell you there were many ruined mornings for many old men Saturday...but Cyrus walked out looking sharp and feeling proud - he was even presented with a diploma from his barber that graduates him from babyhood on to boyhood. We toured the neighborhood with the Mitchell twin girls and their parents from down the street. We got to show off costumes and enjoy one more evening before daylight savings took affect. Happy Halloween Everyone.

Fall 2009

Here are a few photos of the Clan McDonald. We've been enjoying the cool weather when it's not raining. The leaves are changing as you'll see. We took a trip to Carolina Beach for a few days to visit friends and take a break. The weather was really bad, but we managed too click a few shots of Cyrus enjoying the beach. Check out that smile.

Birthday Girl!

We had a family hike around the NC Art Museum today, enjoyed the weather and took some photos. Cyrus had fun walking around the grounds...except of course when he walked to far...and we had to bring him back. He certainly doesn't care to be contained (you can likely find genetic makers from both parents for that one) He doesn't care much for staged photographs either..as you can see down at the bottom. But he is happy wonderful little guy isn't he?
I apologize I titled the posting 'Birthday Girl' and didn't mention that Christine celebrated her 22 (wink wink) birthday on the 1st!

Long Time, No See

Sorry for the delay in the updates. Hope everyone is well. We're trying to keep it cool down here. Cyrus is getting big, and getting into everything. We don't mind. The poor cat is losing her mind however. She's never been so harassed. We're up to 3 teeth with what looks like 2 coming in at the same time. Yep.
